A few months ago, I got tired of having to deal with my shower doors not working properly. They would become stuck sometimes and would even come off the track that holds them in place. I’ve tried various tweaks and changes to get the shower doors to work, but nothing would work. The only thing to do was to find someone to install custom shower doors in New Jersey and get rid of the old ones.
Although I may have been able to install new shower doors on my own, I didn’t want to risk it. In order to do it myself, I would have to get glass doors cut to the size of the shower and put them in without dropping or breaking them. Doing that lone is a big risk, which means I would have to make it a two person job, and even then, there’s no guarantee that the other person that I would be working with wouldn’t break the shower door either. It’s better to just let a professional do the work, and if there’s anything that goes wrong, they will be held responsible for the problem instead of me, and they’ll be able to replace or repair it at no additional cost.
Through a recommendation from a friend, I contacted a company that does shower door installation and they were able to put in some sliding glass doors that were the right size for my shower. The doors slide with ease and close perfectly. Not a drop of water gets out of the shower while the doors are closed. The company was able to haul away the old doors as well. I’m not sure what they’ll be able to do with them. Maybe they can find some way to recycle them, or maybe they can be made into new doors.
