It boosted the downloads by creating a chain reaction on social media. It was a huge success for RefaceAI.

The company spent over three years on the development of Generative Adversarial Nets (GAN) technology. However, its competitors use CGI (computer-generated imagery) technology. They used the app to produce the videos for their songs. More than 30000 people watched the music video released by Heil in the first few hours. Polyakova shared the results of the app on her Instagram account. In the current world, if an app attracts a celebrity, it can beyond the expectations. A similar thing happened with Reflect and Doublicat.
The Doublicat app got a very good start in terms of the number of downloads. In the first two months of its release, the app was downloaded by more than 750000 users. In the next month, the app crossed 4 million downloads. In less than two more months, the app was already downloaded by 4 million users. In July, Sergey Tokarev announced that the app reached 5 million downloads. On July 28, the ranking of the app in the US was 17th on the AppStore in the entertainment category.
The Doublicat app is a highly entertaining app for users. The development team is looking forward to creating software that will detect the fake videos generated by using face replacement technologies. Tokarev also said that it was good for the company that the app got appreciation not only in Ukraine but in various other countries in the world including the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, the US, and many more. In the Philippines and Thailand, Doublicat beat one of the most popular apps, Tiktok.
